(Trumpet, bugle, guitar and vocal)

born in 1964, Reinsfeld, Germany

When Andreas was ten, he learned to play trumpet so that he could play with the Lyra Reinsfeld Musikverein (music club) as soon as possible. His amazing enthusiasm helped to make his wish come true in a very short time, and he was soon playing first bugle for the ensemble. After that he started his musical training in jazz and easy listening with the renowned jazz trumpeter, Helmut Becker. Between 1979 and 1983, Andy played trumpet in a show band, but he had to leave due to his training with the Bundesgrenzschutz (Federal Border Police) and his relocation. He took his move to the Bundespolizeiorchester München (Police Orchestra, Munich) as an opportunity to further his musical talent by taking lessons from the well-known Munich trumpet player, Manfred Niezgoda, and to learn a new instrument as well – the guitar. The entrance followed in several minor positions in the orchestra as well as the foundation of the Coco Nut’s. Between 1997 and 1999 he learned to play classical guitar.
